Tell that to the child who wears the same shirt to school every day. Whose mother yells at him when he spills something on it, because it means that she will have to do one more load of laundry and just that little bit of soap or detergent is going to offset her family’s monthly budget enough so that she can’t buy a dictionary for her son that week, let alone a computer and internet access for their 3-room apartment… and yes, that includes the bathroom.

You know why I will miss any library that closes, you limited-world-view schmuck? Because without libraries, people with cultural opinions, outlooks, and disdain such as yours will be the status-quo. Maybe you should step inside of a modern library before you write a blog that tries to answer the question “What’s a Library?”

I’ve never stepped inside of a water purification plant. Maybe we should get rid of those too?
